1. Information We Collect and How We Use It

Our App is designed to be privacy-first. We collect the absolute minimum amount of data required to provide our services.

A. Local Device Data (Not Collected by Us)

  • Calculator Inputs: All inputs for standard calculations (EMI, SIP, BMI, GPA, etc.) are processed 100% locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store this financial or health data on our servers.
  • App Preferences: Your settings (Dark Mode, currency format, default screens) remain securely on your device.

B. AI Chat Data

When you use the Conversational AI feature, your text prompts are transmitted to our third-party AI provider to generate a response.

  • Data Sent: Only the specific text of the prompt you enter is sent to the AI API.
  • Chat History: Your chat history is saved locally on your device. We do not store your chat history on external servers.
  • Do Not Share Sensitive Data: We advise against entering personally identifiable information (PII) or highly sensitive financial/health information into the AI Chat.

C. Automatically Collected Data & Analytics

To improve the App, we may collect anonymous usage data and crash reports. This data includes device type, OS version, and non-identifiable interaction events.

2. Google Play Store "Data Safety" Compliance

To ensure full transparency under Google Play's Data Safety requirements:

  • Data Encrypted in Transit: Any data sent from the App (such as queries to the AI service) is encrypted over a secure HTTPS connection.
  • No Account Required: You do not need to create an account or provide an email address, name, or phone number to use the App.
  • No Selling of Data: We do not sell any user data to third parties.

3. Data Deletion Policy (Play Store Requirement)

Under Google Play policies, users must have a clear way to request data deletion. Because we do not store your data on our servers, you have full control over your data directly within the App:

  • Clear Chat History: You can delete your entire AI chat history and calculation history at any time by going to Settings > Clear History within the App. This action permanently deletes the local data from your device.
  • Complete Deletion: Uninstalling the App will completely remove all associated local data and preferences from your device.

4. Third-Party Services and Advertising

We may use third-party services that collect information used to identify you.

  • Ads (AdMob): If the App displays advertisements, third-party ad networks (e.g., Google AdMob) may collect device identifiers (such as the Android Advertising ID) to serve personalized ads.
  • Opt-Out: You can opt-out of personalized advertising by adjusting your device settings (e.g., enabling "Opt out of Ads Personalization" in your Android Google settings).

5. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers (though note that we do not collect server data directly).
